Yes we do know that 6101 Ferrera St is next to I-95, but what
we are about to tell you will be great news for the buyer of
this home. YOU GET AN EXTRA 10 FEET OF LAND!!!
From the most recent information we have obtained from
Greenhorne & O'Mara, who is the Engineer for the sound
wall, the construction of the 20 foot tall (need to verify
height) will start in 2008 and be completed in 2009. The
sound wall will be built 10 feet away from the I-95
right-of-way. While the I-95 right-of-way will still be present,
you get 10 feet more land to add to your usable space on
your lot. The existing chain link fence is currently very close
to the right-of-way and will be removed when the sound wall
is installed. The sound wall will be installed about 10 feet
from the fence.
We have also learned that those closest to the sound wall
hear almost nothing from I-95. For the low price of this new
construction home, you are getting a nice size lot, on a dead
end street with the best possible privacy North Palm Beach
